Taken from us much too soon, at the prime of his life.
Missed every waking minute by his family, who ache to see him again one day.
The kindest, sweetest and most generous man I ever could meet, who made my heart sing with his kind words and warm hugs.
Love you Stuart.
To my beautiful son, Stuart
The years are passing, and still I miss you from the very soul of my being. You are always in my thoughts and will stay in my heart forever. Even though it hurts so much for those Ieft behind, I can now say, I am glad we loved you enough to let you go, to be free and joyous in the clouds – brighter than the brightest star. love you so so much…….always. Mum xx
You are not enclosed within your body, nor confined to houses or fields.
That which is you dwells above the mountain and roves with the wind.
You do not crawl into the sun for warmth or digs holes into darkness for safety.
For you are FREE, a spirit that envelops the earth and moves in the ether.
For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.
Adapted from Kahil Gibran
beautiful man
im blessed to have had you in my life. you will never be forgotten, and you will always be in my heart
"I'll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine," He said,
"For you to love the while he lives,
And mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back,
Take care of him for Me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you,
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories
As solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise he will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.
I've looked this wide world over,
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love,
Not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call
And take him back again?"
I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him,
Much sooner than we planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
And try to understand."
